Today was an amazing day as we discovered the Süprmarkt on Instagram. Our excitement peaked as we set out to explore this gem, mainly because we live in a neighborhood where healthy food options are scarce. Upon arriving, we quickly found parking right in front of the market. We were greeted by a charming food patio with ample seating as we approached, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Süprmarkt exuded a bright and clean ambiance, giving off a vibe of intentional revitalization of the space. The exterior design resembled a cozy residential house with a carpenter-style touch, adding to its charm. The familiar tunes of Bob Marley playing in the background filled the air with positive energy, making us feel right at home.

Once inside, we were thrilled to find a well-stocked selection of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, including perfectly ripe mangoes. We couldn't resist ordering a salad plate to go, which featured two delectable salad options: flavorful broccoli over white rice and absolutely delicious vegan macaroni and cheese. Every bite was a delight, especially the vegan macaroni, which exceeded our expectations. We had also heard great things about the cornbread on IG, and it certainly lived up to the hype.

What's more, the prices were surprisingly affordable, making it a budget-friendly choice compared to the fast food options in our neighborhood. We seized the chance to meet Olympia, our server, and were amazed to learn that she is the passionate owner and founder of The Süprmarkt. Learning about her mission to combat the food desert in our area and witnessing her impact in just 90 days of operating the brick-and-mortar market left us thoroughly impressed. We wholeheartedly recommend Süprmarkt as the go-to healthy food alternative in our neighborhood. If you decide to visit, be sure to mention that Omar and his wife sent you!

It is mostly difficult and inconvenient to get quality organic produce in my neighborhood. This is freshest produce in South Central LA! Great delivery service and I’m excited to visit their beautiful new store on Slauson Ave! SÜPRMARKT helps keep me on track with my wellness goals. Thanks to them I’m eating right!

My experience at SÜPRMARKT was a 10/10.

Walking into the space felt like stepping into a vibrant, organic paradise. The atmosphere was so warm & inviting & full of positive energy. The layout of the space is simply beautiful and thoughtfully designed.

Now let's get into the food - 100% organic produce of the highest quality. Seriously, the peaches I purchased from there were some of the best I ever had- so juicy, fresh and delicious! Beyond produce, they have an abundance of vegan food staples, bulk nuts & seeds, snacks, & natural beauty products. They even had my favorite "Enjoy Life Cheddar Lentil Chips" which was a pleasant surprise!

If you are in the South Central area, SÜPRMARKT is an absolute must-visit. Not only will you be treating yourself to the finest foods for your health, you will also be supporting a mission that is committed to making nutritious, healing foods more accessible to the communities who need it most. I'm officially a customer for life and incredibly excited to be apart of this new generation of wellness.

Much love!

SÜPRMARKT is blessing us with quality produce and organic groceries. I love that when I’m in south central now I don’t have to travel so far to get the quality nutritious food my body needs. I can just go to SÜPRMARKT. I was a fan of their delivery service and now I’m even more excited to go to the store and shop and get some tasty vegan food as well

I'm so happy to learn about the news of the SÜPRMARKT brick-and-mortar grocery store opened. The people of SoLA deserve more transit-accessible, organic regenerative whole-foods, plant-based oasis in their junk food desert/food apartheid, without all that green gentrification baggage.

I'm really happy that they found a brick & mortar location with comparatively expanded hours. I remember seeing and sometimes buying produce from the pop ups in Leimert Park & the Underground Museum (sad to see that museum/gallery, event space, community gathering spot go). This is great that they're also nearby me. They accept EBT, which is another huge plus. The mission of bringing fresh organic produce and comparatively healthy food options to communities lacking that (often communities of lower socioeconomic status & predominantly minority neighborhoods) is admirable. Even if you don't personally care about that kind of mission/cause, support a small business that has good quality products. Healthy food options is something that should be available regardless of financial wealth, gender, race, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, mental health, etc. Even though I have the privilege of location (Ladera Heights/Westchester) & transportation (I own a car that runs) such that finding organic produce is not a significant burden on me, not everyone has that kind of privilege. And anyway, I'm happy to help a small business with good quality products/services and a good cause. I wish there were more markets like this and people like Olympia.
