Doctor Spencer Summers and his team were fantastic. I was referred by my primary doctor, who told me that they are the best when it comes to knee replacement. I was not disappointed at all. Although the type of surgery had me doubting if I was making the right decision, I am thrilled that I did. My doctor was personally polite and trustworthy. His team was just as good, answering my emails and phone calls the same day, sometimes in minutes. I could not say more about the experience, but I drive an hour and a half from Miami to see them, and I would not have it any other way.

Dr Spencer Summers is truly my hero. He did my hip replacement. He explained everything very well. Never made me feel uncomfortable with questions and took the time to answer me. He is very personable. My recovery was easy, in two weeks I was walking unaided reasonably well, by 6-8 weeks I was almost like new, at 3 months I’m great. My scar is minimal. All that after a year of pain and poor mobility. I highly recommend Dr Summers.

Dr. Summers gave me a new knee. After over 3 decades of trying to make very damaged knee work it was long overdo. It's a life changing experience.

Dr Summers did my hip replacement about six weeks ago. I couldn’t have been happier with the way things went. I felt very lucky to have Doctor Summers, who has an impeccable medical background and has done over 1000 of replacements like mine. (I asked. What can I say- I’m thorough.) The office was always on time and Dr Summers and/or staff always answered my questions right away on the portal. Very quick response via phone for a few post op questions as well. I never felt rushed and always felt sincere caring by everyone there. I couldn’t be happier.

The arthritis in my hips was so bad I couldn't walk without a walker or cane. Having known HSS was rated #1 in the nation for orthopedic surgery, I traveled to West Palm Beach from Sarasota to consult with Dr Summers. He replaced one hip and then the other 4 weeks later. When I was in the recovery room, the staff was gathered around my X-ray. They were amazed at how Dr Summers had perfectly aligned both hips. My legs were also uneven, and now I stand straight. If you you need a hip replacement, or have a failed surgery from a previous surgery, it is well worth the short drive to have it done right. I am 75 years old, and I am now walking 2-5 miles a day, as well as biking and gardening with no pain. HSS is truly #1 and so is Dr Summers.
