We were made aware of Dr kotzen from his reviews online shortly after finding out we were having our first baby. I was very nervous about pregnancy and birth but after our first meeting with Dr Kotzen I knew that he was the doctor I wanted delivering my baby. I was immediately put at ease by his calming bedside manner, wealth of knowledge and experience. He was very open about my options and presented me with every available course of treatment throughout my pregnancy. He reassured me that my body was designed for this and I felt confident going into my first baby’s birth. I had a great experience at Good Samaritan hospital, Dr Kotzen is a superstar at his job and his patients get the royal treatment there. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to have Dr Kotzen as my OB. Worth every penny.

Dr.Kotzen , is an excellent doctor he listens to me as a patient. He addresses every issue and question that I may have and keeps me at ease and calm during my pregnancy I really recommend him he is an excellent doctor. And Karen is an excellent person as well she works at his office and always takes very good care of me and goes two steps ahead of me to make sure everything is fine.

Dr. Kotzen and his staff provide wonderful service. They are very quick to respond and handle all matters in a timely fashion. He makes you feel very comfortable throughout the visit and answers all your questions. I have seen Dr. Kotzen for over 5 years and through three pregnancies. I can not recommend him and his office enough.

Very friendly staff, well kept and gorgeous office. But the best part is Dr. Kotzen - his concern he shows each patient and time spent to address questions is remarkable. I have been a patient for over 30 yrs. and would never leave his practice.

Dr. Kotzen is the best doctor I have ever seen. Not only does he have excellent bedside manner, but he is also extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. He is a genuinely kind and caring human being. He always seeks out second and third opinions when appropriate or necessary. He never skimps or overlooks on any aspect of his patients' care. I have used him for over 2 years with my long and difficult fertility journey and am currently using him for my high risk pregnancy with my second daughter. He makes the fertility and pregnancy process seemless. His nurse practitioner and assistant, Karen, is amazing as well. She easily schedules all appointments, fills prescriptions, and is incredibly responsive to calls and texts. I look forward to seeing Dr. Kotzen and his practice for many years to come.

Dr. Kotzen is such a wonderful OBGYN!! He cares deeply about his patients and their growing babies. He is always available and is super patient, detailed and very attentive. He is warm and welcoming and has a wonderful way of making the pregnancy journey special for every member of the family. I would strongly recommend him to any expectant mom.

He saved me and my baby’s life! My previous doctor would not listen to me and wanted me to wait a few days for an appointment, I explained to him that I thought I had preeclampsia ( I had it 1x in the past). I wasn’t feeling well and decided to go to near by hospital that my doctor didn’t have rights , by the grace of God Dr. Kotzen happen to be the attending OB that night…. I was immediately admitted due to preeclampsia and put on mag drip and delivered the next day! My whole body was swollen and I was close to having a stroke or seizure! My baby was in the Nicu for 11 days from all the meds they had to give me to keep my pressure down, she was 4 weeks early and also had problem with jaundice. My baby is now healthy and so am I! I’m so grateful that Dr.Kotzen decided to stand up for me, most doctors would not have wanted to treat me or go against another doctors opinion especially with me being so far along and not being there actual patient! I think I could have lost my life as well as my baby’s life, if it wasn’t for Dr. Kotzen! Thank you, I’m forever grateful!

Dr. Kotzen and his secretary were very rough with me in correspondence and by the phone. I was waiting for my tests results for very long time. I couldn’t answer to Dr. Kotzen by the phone when he called me, because I was traveling. Then when I came back I called to the clinic by myself and asked to send me my tests results. The secretary made me wait on the phone for very long time, I called again, she answered me that Dr. Kotzen is with a patient and that he will call me back right after. He didn’t call me back. After waiting for his call for a week more I called to the office by myself again and asked to send me my tests results again. Dr. Kotzen sent me my results and a letter where he asked me to note that he suggest me to find care elsewhere.
