Warning for anyone who visit this area here. Lack of parking space for consumers and not very safe area to park or walk around. I poorly recomend to consumer not to go near this business and used parking across u-haul (Gun pawn shop) they don't get along well with u-haul. My daughter need it to used the restrooms and In less then 5 minutes parked at gun pawnshop the owner call the (1st towing recovering) a very unprofessional angry and hungry!! guy show up up and had my truck ready to towing disrespected me and my daughter demanding me to get off my car if I don't paid him cash money, he was going to grab me and my daughter out of my own car and saying lots of bad words. The sign at gun pawn shop said (no parking over night) it was around 10:00am lots of empty parking space at gun pawnshop. The city should protect local consumers and have more security around here and order to closed those dirty business and help consumers including children's to live safe here in the beautiful city of orlando near Disney and SeaWorld.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

I went to have my car’s hitch installed; they gave me an appointment and told me it would take less than 3 hours. I returned after 3 hours, and they were very delayed. They confirmed it would take 30 more minutes. I waited for 2 more hours and then decided to speak at the front desk to see what was happening, as no one was working on my car. The person who attended me called the Manager, and he came and verbally assaulted me. I thought he was going to physically assault me. He told me that I couldn’t file any complaints. I stayed quiet because my car was disassembled, and I didn’t want them to delay it any longer.

Upon leaving, I called UHAUL to file a complaint, and they opened a case. A manager called me, took my story, and said they would contact me again. Today, more than 2 months later, I called, and they told me the case was closed because supposedly they couldn’t reach me once, and they never tried again.

Now I’m worried because they have all my information, and I don’t know what they might do with it.

Don’t go to that place; there are many others where you will surely receive better treatment.

The staff at this U-Haul location is exceptional. I initially booked a 15’ truck but found it too small for my belongings, so I called to request an exchange. I was ready to pay the difference, but they handled the exchange for me and honored the original price. When I arrived at U-Haul with a washer and dryer in the truck, they transferred the appliances without me having to ask. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this location. Thank you, guys!

All the people I came in contact with and especially the worker who assisted me she was absolutely amazing during a very stressful time for my family and I cannot be more thankful to her for everything. I came in need to basically leave town within 24 hours of Christmas due to a family emergency and they she did everything in her power to get me setup to leave within my schedule. Thank you so much again to the whole staff who worked together wonderfully.

Funny enough, this is the second one-star review I have left for this place. Where did my first go Just disappeared. That’s strange.

We moved in to our storage unit around July 30, ‘24. First off, the storage warehouse is a joke. The storage units, themselves, are made of plywood. A 1/4” steel closure, that can be locked is the only thing truly protecting your belongings. I saw holes in doors and walls, as well as busted, splintered wooden hand railings.

If you’re really lucky, you may get a unit that is on the ground level. We weren’t so lucky. Our unit was up a flight of stairs, 100 or so feet away from the loading dock.

The loading dock, itself, was a nightmare. We unloaded a few items from our U-Haul truck, with the ramp securely positioned on the ground. The only problem was, we had to lift all of our heavy items up onto the dock. An employee came by and witnessed us doing this and told us it would be easier to put the truck in reverse and walk the ramp back to the dock, by hand. We did so, with his help, and it was MUCH easier. Only problem with that is, it’s a regular sized dock, not suited for the short U-Haul trucks, so there is a sizable difference between the bottom of the U-Haul to the top of the loading dock. When we finished, I was going to simply drive the truck and let the ramp flop off of the dock and let them deal with the problem, but I was afraid they would sue us or charge us extra. So, my wife drove and I lifted the ramp off of the loading dock. Seems like U-Haul would want to stray away from that much of a liability. It was free though, right? It was free, but I still wish we would have gone somewhere else, to making loading and unloading.

We finally moved in to our rental home and U-Haul suggested movers! Perfect! And it was only $200 and some change! Too good to be true! It wasn’t true. Two guys pulled up in separate Toyota Camry to help my wife load our belongings in our wrangler. To make matters worse, the guys were obviously upset about the situation and followed my wife back to our house!! She called U-Haul, they desperately apologized and we were ultimately refunded the money.

Fast forward to today, October 19, ‘24. We own a food truck and needed to get our propane refilled. We backed our truck in, as we have one previous time, pushed the button and expected someone to come assist us. I pushed the button for assistance numerous times, with no answer, over the span of about ten minutes. I finally went inside. There was one employee assisting three different families. There was another employee that seemed busy, HAD to have seen our massive food truck backed into the propane refill station but made no effort to help. After he helped the gentleman renting his U-Haul van, that employee quickly disappeared.

We won’t be back to give any business to this location, and I would strongly advise anyone reading this, to take your money elsewhere.

So far so good. Came in a day early to confirm and see unit. Alex gave me a walk around and explained move in area along with available moving supplies (carts and dolly?). He had a few smart a@@ comments/responses (one being... "I'm not a mind-reader") that were just unnecessary and did not shine even in the best of light.

Drop off of my U-Haul was easy. Associate explained additional fees to my service in detail so there were no surprises later. Which I had anticipated fees due to me going over miles and that was explained by Alex on our walk around the day before. Over all, great experience.
