Below is the review I did about a month ago concerning the wonderful Dr. Sonia Yoo. Something I left out was how very pleasant Dr. Yoo is and how comforting and reassuring her bedside manner is. Also, having now had my optometric follow up at Bascom Palmer I want to clarify something I previously said. I referred to the lenses Dr. Yoo implanted as multi focal toric lenses. I believe a generic reference to multifocal is usually taken to mean the type of lens that has concentric circles to allow for close and distant vision but which sometimes produce a “halo”
effect at night. My lenses are.Clareon Vivity Toric lenses which allow me to see at distance, close up, and in between with no halo effect. Since my procedures this past May 31. And June 6, respectively, my vision has only gotten better and it was fantastic as soon as the procedures were done. If I’ve said anything that is incorrect concerning the lenses or otherwise, Dr., Yoo please correct me. I waive HIPPA. Thank you again Dr. Yoo.
Below is my original comment concerning the incredible Dr. Yoo and my procedures.
Dr. Yoo is absolutely outstanding. She performed cataract surgeries on both my eyes and inserted multifocal toric lenses. My vision is an unbelievable 20/20 and I’m good for reading as well. Dr. Yoo gave this senior citizen the eyes of a teenager. Too bad she forgot about the body.? Thank you Dr. Yoo.
