Do not go here. Roger called me an hour before I was supposed to pick up my rental to tell me they were late moving cars and had nothing on the lot, he said maybe later that day. I confirmed this reservation multiple times through corporate to ensure I would have a car and he offered no assistance to help. He just kept saying “I don’t know what you want me to do” how about do your job and ensure there are cars for the reservations people make to get to work and other commitments

Don’t go to this location the employee can be prejudice. I went to this location upon arrival I notecard the employee being rude to a minority customer. The next customer was white and he completed excellent customer service. When it was my turn I asked the employee which car would I have he stated a Tesla or a Silverado. When I came back inside I reiterated what he said to me. He then changed and said “never mind I am putting you in a Tesla I then said “are you the manager because your customer service isn’t good” he then slid my cards and said I’m canceling your reservation. This was for no reason at all I then asked to speak with a manager by phone he refused to provide any information he then gave me the customer service number while I was on the phone and telling the customer service representative from Ava is my experience how the rep rest was being prejudice against me he then asked me to leave and stated that I am being trespassed. I sat in the lobby non aggressively quietly while in the phone with customer care. The police then showed up and said that I am being trespassed again for no apparent reason other than being a black person

The owner was really nice and professional.

It’s not a large car rental place, so I can see why people haven’t gotten the vehicle they exactly expected, but there were a lot of other good options. I payed for a sports car, and ended up getting a luxury instead so I didn’t have to wait. Overall a good experience.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR RENTAL LOCATION. THEY WILL MAKE FALSE CLAIMS AND TAKE MORE MONEY FROM YOU. FOR US THEY FIRST CLAIMED WE HAD DOG HAIR IN THE VEHICLE WHEN THERE WAS NEVER A DOG IN IT, AFTER THAT THEY MADE FALSE CLAIMS OF EXCESSIVE DIRT $450.00 DOLLARS OF EXTRA BOLD FACE LIES LATER RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS TOO. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND STESS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

To each their own. I had a great experience at this location last month. I flew in from Canada then took an uber over to this location. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. He answered all the questions and concerns that I had. Yes, the car had minor scratches and dent, but they were all noted for on the paperwork. Everyone's experience is different, but I had a positive one.

Not sure of past reviews but my experience with the Avis staff at check in and drop off was exceptional. I was hoping to use the app and go straight to our vehicle but it wouldn’t let me through the app but upon arrival at the check in counter, the gentleman was very courteous and explained that it was because it was a smaller airport and literally had us headed to our twelve passenger van in 5 mins or less and when we returned the vehicle in a hurry, the gentleman working was super helpful and totally honest about the price of filling up the car there and had us on our way again in less than 5 minutes. I will definitely use again and again until they give me a reason not to but as of now I am highly satisfied and definitely recommend! Thanks!

I've never posted anything negative about a company, Ive never had any problems with my previous rentals. I was a loyal Avis customer until now. Just got a letter saying they were going to bill me $150 b/c we returned the car with pet hair. I would expect them to let you know on the spot if theres a problem so we can address it. But no, just a letter a month later. Reps and supervisor at customer service offered to reduce it to 75, and give me a coupon for a future rental. Frankly, I'd be scared to now, seeing if this is how they treat their customers. $150 is a bit excessive. Disappointing in this unethical business practice. Disappointing that the employee in their Sanford FL location was so shady.

Update
I contacted my credit card company in October to dispute this egregious charge. I plead my case with facts and pictures and they returned a favorable resolution on my behalf, refunding me the $150 Avis took from me.
Reasonable and right prevailed. I will continue to let others know how Avis does not value customers and how they hide their unethical business practices amongst a fog of obscure rules that are not consistent with all locations.
