Great communication and support up until our son had endoscopy after that none of my calls were answered for a follow up appointment (that he recommended), and no diet was advised - he only read the results of the endoscopy- but despite of several calls I made and messages I left for a few weeks, they never returned them. So obviously he was only there to perform the endoscopy. Also, They screen their calls so they knew I was calling during work hours - they don’t answer the phone if they don’t recognize the number, this is what the receptionist had told me.
And while I was trying to get a hold of him with no luck , he had his billing dept call us (after less than a month later), asking us to pay the bill- which had lead us to believe he didn’t want to answer the calls because he was done with the endoscopy part, made his money and he wouldn’t provide his services in further, if there’s a bill out there, which was not even overdue. And the billing lady literally said “dr sirlin told me you are moving so I have to collect your payment”. I had explained to her my husband was overseas and he would pay as soon as he’s back (which was couple weeks later). I told her Dr Sirlin doesn’t answer my calls and I needed a follow up appt, she said “I’ll give him the message”, but no response to that either..: Because we were moving in 2 months, he thought he wouldn’t get paid… another practitioner, only after $$$ - and unfortunately there are not many other pediatric GI drs in the area… I still have many questions not answered, looking for a doctor who actually cares and provides better guidance than Dr Sirlin. And I don’t know why patients from 20+ years ago would write reviews and mislead people now- a lot changes in 20 years… so I don’t really believe all these reviews are legit…
