I bought a 2018 Lexus ES 350 from Hgreg on February 2nd, 2024. At the time, I needed to buy a car quickly because my 2011 Lexus ES 350 263k miles was about due for registration/ inspection in Washington, DC. And it wouldn't make the 14-hour trip back n forth. The car at Hgreg met my expectations until I realized what what was really going on.

Initially, I noticed both the front and back bumpers appeared to be slightly misaligned. I thought if you add clips, both problems could be corrected. I accepted a $200 stipend for the damage and proceeded with the purchase.

A few months later, one of my tire reflectors fell off, so I went to Lexus of Melbourne for a replacement. While I was there, I inquired about the front bumper damage. The lady told me point blank, I needed a new bumper, and referred me to their collision repair facility.

I went to Tommy Blair collision in Rockledge Florida. Initial front bumper estimate was $1,800 and the back bumper $1600. It was to a point that the front bumper was separating from the wheel well, and it was a complete eye sore.

I agreed to move forward with the front bumper repair because I couldn't stand looking at the car anymore. Once there, they reached out once and said there was additional damage. Then, they reached out again with more damage.

At this point, including the rental car, I'm about $3500 out of pocket. Not including the back bumper.

I spoke with Jamal from Hgreg. He said I should've gotten it checked out within 5 days. I have to work. The dealership was 90 miles from my home.

Hgreg passed the buck onto me as an unsuspecting car buyer. Had I known (which I'm absolutely sure they knew) the extent of the damage, I would've never purchased this vehicle.

Jamal said, "Come and trade it in". I can't afford to be completely upside down going into another car purchase.

The pictures show everything. I can't believe a reputable car dealer would allow this type of vehicle on their lot.

Parts are literally glued together on my car. I can't explain it any other way. Look at the photos. And definitely don't get scammed by these guys..
