Let me start off by saying I want to cry, I'm overwhelmed with Joy with the fact that someone like Ms. Jackson listened to me. She HEARD ... ME! She evaluated me based upon what I discussed with her and I felt zero judgement. I felt like a person and not just another dollar bill in someone pocket. God I wish everyone was like Ms. Jackson. She is truly a living angel. I felt like I was talking to a family member. Thank you.

After trying some online therapy services, I sought a solution where I could speak to a professional face to face. I found Latoya through my insurance and after doing my research, I decided to book an appointment, which was simple. I appreciated being able to fill out all of the intake forms online, saving me time.

Upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Latoya herself and the wait time was virtually none which, being someone who is highly punctual, I also appreciated. After some minor confusion regarding my reason(s) for being there, Latoya was very polite and made sure I was okay with only being able to see her every other week for my purposes.

The rest of my initial visit was wonderful. Never once did I feel I was being judged and Latoya quietly listened to me and followed along even when I would veer off one topic into another. I appreciated her "tough love" approach of sorts which never once came across as rude, condescending, or accusatory; always tinged with good advice and trying to skew my way of thinking towards a more "glass half full" angle without being unrealistic or attempting to sugar coat anything.

I came out of my first visit feeling like I had spoken to someone who genuinely wanted my mental health to improve versus someone just looking to charge my insurance, write me a prescription, and send me on my way.
