The counseling center was fine, my issue was not with them, it was the therapist that was provided to me. Her name is Chloe Thomas-Bedeau. From the very beginning she was not engaging with me and seemed very uninterested in my case. When I would explain certain things I was going through she would come off as extremely judgy. I missed a session due to an emergency that had taken place and I texted her about it informing her of what happened. Despite me communicating with her, she ignored my text. When I contacted her the week after confirming our session she also never responded. I never heard from her after that, she practically ghosted me and when I called the center to speak with her, she told them to tell me “Tell her I’ll give her a call later and to make sure she checks her insurance”. If there was an insurance issue she could have just communicated that with me rather than ghosting me. She was a horrible therapist when working with me and I will be reporting her to the board.

It's almost impossible to get an appointment with these guys. They do not call back to schedule you taking sometimes a week or more. Zoraima Rodriguez was completely rude on the phone telling me to "call back in a month". Don't bother with these clowns.

First thing to know is that if you are SEEKING MEDICATION...., IN ADVANCE you MUST HAVE a recent Physical exam on record including all BLOOD WORK and LABS, AS WELL AS an EKG or you will not be percribed medication. Save yourself disappointment and frustration of l trying to get an appointment with primary care by looking to if there are any walk in clinics in your area that accept your insurance. The will expedite the process.

Be prepared for it to take at least a month from your first appointment to get your care in place.
Who publicly posts a review of a mental health provider? Someone has to do it. If you are seeking mental help, do not be discouraged, it is usually not as complicated as they make it. This has been The most complicated and inefficient intake process I've ever experienced. A lot of convoluted instructions. As we know, options are limited by health insurance, so try to stay with it!<3 Further, for newcomers to the world of mental health care, ALWAYS REMEMBER: If your assigned therapist or Nurse practioner makes you feel uncomfortable or dismissed in any way, your ARE ALLOWED to ask to be matched with someone else. Just wanted to thank everyone who helped me on my journey of healing and better mental wellness. The people at this facility really took time to listen to me and provide great care. I spent a couple of years going to therapy here and I have noticed how much it’s helped my day to day especially when dealing with stressful situations. The intake process is pretty simple and after review you’re paired with one of many therapists they have. They are very open to adjusting and catering services to your individual needs. Also shout out to reception who are always very communicative and helpful.

happy new year they always listen to My Cry they do a very good job with me I appreciate them respecting me as a patient I hope they value my concerns, an advocate for me not only I've been going there for a very long time I send more than like 100 people there, the call center needs to be re-educated they are using nouns adjectives and pronouns when it comes to a woman like myself, they are also rude and also hang up on a patient, I never had a problem calling the regular Center and now that they put this call center I've been having three issues and that's not nice, they have lack of information and lack of knowledge who someone's proxy the call center also acts too many questions important questions just to get through and speak to someone

this place really doesn't care about your mental health, they care little to nothing about their patients! my daughter had an appointment today at 12:30 pm with the "therapist" Michael Sanchez I traveled from staten island for my daughter to have her appointment when I arrived they told me to wait and after about 15 or 20 minutes under a nurse told me that my therapist I was not going to arrive, I understand that emergencies exist but not having the decency to call an hour before the appointment, which seems fair to me for any emergency. And they still don't care what you do to get there.

I’ve been in therapy for a little more than a year now. My first therapist was very accommodating and understanding of my issues. My second therapist, I’m seeing now, has opened me up to a different perspective/world. I still have a ways to go, but I never thought I’d be where I am today. I think my overall physical health has improved as well.

The only reason I am giving one star is because of a therapist that is really good and even my daughter loves how she is , professional and really cares about her patients. Now, I recently called with an emergency and nobody helped me , the lady in the front desk was talking over me and told me that there is a month waiting list (just for the first interview) which is really bad because I told them that I am going thru an emergency situation with my 6 years old daughter. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they told me there were no supervisors that day which is crazy because that means that there is no supervision at all.
