I will agree with another patron who stated the office staff is cut throat. We missed an appointment, first time, they immediately hit my bank account for $175. The problem is that we have never missed an appointment and they actually offer options for paying the missed appointment fee, but they chose not to inform us of the options until AFTER they hit the account for the whole payment. Needless to say that put us in a bit of a bind financially.

I'm not saying they don't need to have a missed appointment fee, I'm not saying that we did not make a mistake in missing the appointment what I am saying is the way this was handled demonstrates a genuine lack of care or concern for the client and a sincere desire to just make money. A simple phone call to say, "hey you missed an appointment today is everything alright, this isn't normal for you" would have gone a long way.

Because of a difference in opinion on their missed appointment fee one of the doctors (Sherri) and my husband had, she refused to see my step daughter who had just came to live with us who needed help transitioning to life with us. I feel this was so very unprofessional. She needed help and to turn her away because of a difference of opinion on their missed appointment fee, which had nothing to do with her is ridiculous.

Clerical staff is horrid. First, we cancelled the next week's appointment in person and we're still charged the $170 fee the next week because Angela didn't cancel the appointment in the book. I had to fight that one out with the doctor because Angela said I never cancelled the appointment.

Second, our insurance carrier changed at the first of the year and we notified the office well in advance of the change in carriers. Angela continued to bill the old insurance carrier for a month until my wife called and corrected her. Fast forward 6 months and we're getting calls from Angela saying the old carrier has raised its copay and we owe more money for the appointments. Hello? She billed the wrong carrier and now she's unwilling to admit the errors and is telling us it's our fault for not notifying her in advance the insurance carrier has changed.

Do yourself a favor and find another office in the area that is capable of medical billing and scheduling. If you use this office you will definitely experience frustration!

Office staff is cut-throat and doesn't have any patience or flexibility. They force you to abide by a Ridiculous $175 cancellation policy where they keep your credit card on file and if you need to cancel or reschedule, you must give a two day notice or they WILL charge your credit card $175! There's no grace period or flexibility or anything, you miss, you PAY. They're just there for money!!!! Go somewhere else!!! Avoid!

I am not sure what problems others have had but I have been a client for over 12 years. Both the staff and professionals have always been very helpful. The do have a cancellation policy but that's typical and as I recall, they require only 24 hours notice to avoid the cancellation charge.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Sweeney for a year now and I would never go anywhere else. I am pretty shocked to see these negative comments after googling his info for a friend. I am extremely picky, especially when it comes to doctors. Staff and especially Dr. Sweeney are beyond amazing. Please ignore some of these negative comments that make no sense and allow yourself to get the treatment you deserve. You won’t find a better doctor!
