This is where you need to go to get a mental health warrant for someone exhibiting mental illness. The process takes about 3-4 hours in total. You will need the applicants medical history, medications they take, medical insurance, social, phone number, address all written on paper as they do not allow cell phones when you are filling out paperwork. Once you fill out paperwork they have you call a list of hospitals to guarantee a bed for the patient to be evaluated. Overall the staff did a great job and got me in and out in the promised time. The whole process from start to finish was done in less than a day. The police picked the patient up the same day. Very quick turnaround in my opinion.

During my visit at HCPC, I found that the front desk rep. Tatiana was very helpful and friendly. It's not always easy working the frontlines but she gives off positive vides and makes sure you don't have to wait long than you need too. She is a great representation of the Facility.

Very very thankful for the staff at this facility. For the past 10 years they have always been great to my mother every single time she comes to get treatment. This is the ONLY mental hospital I will ever take her to. The others in Houston lack compassion and concern for their patients. I have so much respect and gratitude for the people who work here.

I went through a traumatic mental breakdown and ended up at HCPC. Dr. P and the other doctors and physicians asst Amy and my amazing social worker Ashley, all nurses and in specific Chantel and Tanya and a few others were absolutely amazing!!! The techs were great and took incredible care of me as well! I am giving this institution credit for making me whole again with my Bipolar diagnosis and the tools to give me the ability to move forward with a happy life. Thank you!!! Jack Ylitalo ♥

I don’t typically write reviews ever, but this place warrants one because of my firsthand experience. I have experienced some of the worst anxiety attacks and actual paranoid delusions only in this place because of the incorrect medication I was given. I continued the meds for long enough to realize they were not helping me and were given out for a manic episode that did not exist and was actually substance abuse and my own family tried to explain this multiple times. Since getting off the prescribed meds, I have not experienced any of these terrible side effects and I am getting treatment for my real drug problem. If you are an addict, go to rehab, you will be treated appropriately and not misdiagnosed or mistreated.

That said, I have no ill will towards the staff. They were kind enough, and the food is well made and nutritious. It is unfortunate that I was extremely untrusting of them due to the medication at the time and I had multiple paranoid delusions about them being against me. I have since went back to my depression medication and feel far better now.

This place has tainted my view of mental institutions and I’m staying far away from them for the rest of my life and I will never willing go to one again.

I allowed them to care for my son as I believed some of the reviews and the fact UT was running this center. This is not what’s advertised! I would never allow my child to go here had I known some of the things allowed. Not just what’s allowed but seems they take pleasure in giving kids shots in their *** to knock them out whether they’re defending themselves from someone e hurting them or not. There’s way more to say but the main thing I can say is my child left w the prescription he needed. Other than that, I’m still dumbfounded.

This place is absolutely amazing I was doing the time I lost my oldest Brother.. I really need this moment.. I need a long stay I need my medicine n immediately support.. I'm homeless n lost everything.
Can you help me please I need my housing back they took my section 8 housing n my Food stamps I feel sad n broken
