Edit: I sought out an evaluation with a different provider at a different practice, and the experience was worlds better. The evaluation was clearly laid out in advance and everything was explained both before and after, whereas at this practice I had to request a follow-up after the initial session to have the several page report explained.
Original: The doctor was personable, but communicated poorly. I didn't fully understand how the evaluation was being administered, and felt like I wasn't being heard at times. It took a very long time to receive responses to any emails I sent. I was also told I could add information to improve the accuracy of the evaluation after the fact, then much later told it wouldn't be possible without paying out-of-pocket costs. I feel the evaluation provided helpful information but would recommend going elsewhere.

Had a psychological evaluation done here. Dr. Katina Harris is a great clinician, she explained everything very well and was more than willing to follow up with me to discuss test results. One of the only places in Katy that does autism testing for adults, so that was also a plus! Overall a 10/10 would recommend.

I was very excited to seek help with West Houston Psychology but it turns out that they only care about your money. After I missed an appointment that was rescheduled (because my doctor literally didn’t show up to my first appointment) because of technological issues they have refused help me. To be clear. I never even got to have an appointment, but I’m being charged $165 for a missed appointment fee. And they emailed me stating they will not provide me with any services. Absolutely disgusting company to be working in the mental health industry. If I could give zero stars I would.

Highly recommend this establishment. Dr. Maxwell gave me the attention and care I needed to get myself on a better path to mental health treatment. Obviously with psychological treatment everyone has their own preference. I can say personally my experience was an overall positive one with Dr. Maxwell!

Black woman-owned Psychological testing. Small outfit but customer oriented, professional, competent. I recommend to all my friends with undiagnosed mental health issues. Adult ADHD testing provided as well as for other DSM5 disorders.

They genuinely do not care about people. Won’t tell you if results are delayed and will just leave you feeling forgotten. I do not recommend this place at all and wish I never went here.
